FAQ
How should I care for my rug?
Our rugs arrive to ivy&loom thoroughly and professionally cleaned by our supplier.
It is safe to vacuum your rug with your home vacuum. However, be sure to turn the rotating brush off, as it is too harsh for hand knotted, vintage rugs. Always vacuum in the direction of the pile.
For small spills, use a gentle cleaner and warm water. We recommend castile soap. Please test a small area before continuing to clean up a spot.
Depending on the traffic in your home, you can have your rug professionally cleaned by your local Persian rug cleaner. This is only necessary if your rug is particularly soiled. We do not recommend washing your rug frequently. If you are local to Buffalo, reach out to us and we can recommend a cleaner near you.
Do you rent rugs?
Absolutely! This is a big part of our business. If you are looking for a rug rental for a wedding or special event, please email us and we will send you our rental agreement and pricing options.
Returns
All sales are final. We do not use a filter when photographing our rugs. All pictures are taken in natural daylight. Please note that depending on the light of your home and on your device, the rug color may look different in your home. We list all rug colors next to the photo. Before purchasing your rug, please message us if you would like to see more pictures of the rug.
